Kyron is HOME!!

What a fun day!! After two years, he's home! And oh, how we have missed our favorite Uncle Kyron!!

We rented a party bus (ahem, hooker bus) to all drive together to the airport. It was the biggest vehicle we could find and although it may have been a bit over the top for a newly returned missionary, we have a great time being all together!  Kyron got a kick out of it when he saw it!

His plane was delayed an hour.  Unfortunately we didn't know that until we were already on the road, so thankfully Aunt Brielle had her Ipod!  We were able to keep the kids mostly contained--and it was a feat with the hundreds of people who were there. It was a such a neat thing to watch missionary after missionary after missionary come down the stairs and run for a hug from their families.  Man, I love me some missionaries!

Within hours of picking Kyron up, after he had been released, we drove to a cabin to spend the weekend. Not much happened--chatting, games, ziplining, 4wheeler rides, food, and vidoes.  We enjoyed all being together and catching up.  Ky hasn't changed that much--he seems taller and his more helpful--but is the same good hearted, happy, helpful, thoughtful kid.  We sure love him!!

My sister, Brielle, has more pictures and some videos from the airport on her blog.  Here is the link:

She also has a good post about the cabin weekend.
