Update! Summertime!

Gotta get caught up, but it indeed feels overwhelming. So, I'm going to just start and hope to fill in as the bug catches me. If not, know that we did a lot in the last 9 months, and are busy and happy and blessed!

Welcome to Summer!!
I had a friend ask me if I'm one of the Mom's that loves summer or dreads it.  Definitely LOVES it! I miss these little people when they are gone all day!! There is certainly adjusting to figure out and our day changes a ton, but we soak up every minute we can and then happily send them back to school in August! Ha!

We kicked off summer this year with a camping trip. We recently sold our old camper and picked up a newer one. We aren't to our dream camper yet, but making progress on the road to get there!  What better way to ring in summer than a camping trip?!?

We headed to our favorite spot in American Fork canyon (some place the kids have named Indian campsite for some reason), and spent a quick weekend with the Woods. We smore'd, we hiked, we geo-cached (unsuccessfully), we lost Josh (it was quick and scary.  Heavenly Father is good).  Miss Elizabeth was sick (came home to find double ear infections) but even she was a trooper.  How thankful we feel for the place we live--the beauty that surrounds us and the chance we have to enjoy it!

After camping we started up our summer routine. I think the kids love it as much as I do and we sure have fun everyday trying out new things.

Haircuts all around to start the day! Aunt Jillisa rocks!

Weeding the church's onion fields.

Katelyn has been taking Gold lessons and swimming at Todd and MaryLynn's.

Lots to do on the 'ol #blueacre.  Weeding, cherry picking, yard work. We love our little piece of Heaven!

We went to the Church History Museum for #fieldtripfriday. It was AWESOME!

And then, another camping trip for the books.  This one a bit longer and to another favorite spot, Dry Bread Pond (or it is crusty break creek? ;) ).  I was the one to get sick this time, but not until after 2 full days of fun in the sun.  Love my sweet husband who drove me home in the middle of the night and Uncle Kyron who slept with the kids so they wouldn't wake up freaked out.  I am so blessed.
