Praying for a Miracle...

Are you hoping for any miracles come the New Year?  This is a shameless plug, but we are!!  If you feel like adding something to your prayers, add us!

We need a renter for our beautiful house in Texas!!  Spending $3000 in mortgage payments (between both houses) is killing us....and is about to start killing our credit!  So...

This year we're praying for a miracle!

Merry Christmas!!

We've had a great holiday season--full of family fun, sparkling lights, shopping, gifting, and thoughts of the Savior.  I'm ready to take down all my Christmas stuff tomorrow and get my house back in order--and try out and set up all my new things~!  Thanks to everyone for your love, generosity, and the great family traditions that make this time of year so special!

Extended Craven Family Christmas Party.  Good food, good company, traditional nativity, spirit and fun!

Our Christmas tree, Harold the 4th.  (WAY better looking than last year, but still just as dead! :)

Christmas Eve with the Woods.  Traditional mexican feast (we have MASTERED tamales' around here!!), and a new tradition...go to a movie at the Theater.  We loved Tangled--but couldn't get the girls to look at me for a picture!

Opening our Christmas Jammies!

Christmas morning.  Katelyn woke up, came upstairs, saw her stocking and said, "Oh! Santa came to our house!!"  Love the morning hair!

Mike got his remote controlled airplane!!  It crashed, but that was to be expected.  This is the face of one happy man!

Just a quick overview--if you've got better pictures, send them my way please!!

It came, it went, call me updated...

Here's the quick run-down of what you may have missed....

Katelyn was a princess, Josh has BYU football player down!  We had a ward party, family parties, trick-or-treating, and general Halloween festivities.

Katelyn and Max--her ward party date.

I thought Mike was dead one morning in the Farmington Canyon.  He wasn't.  He did get some good pictures though!

My Grandmother passed away.  It was an emotional week, one filled with memories, Spirit, crying, and goodness.  Love my family, love my Grandma. I love that yesterday, on her wedding anniversary, she got to share it with Grandpa.

We went and saw Dad, Ky, and Cousin Brent perform in Savior of the World--fabulous show!

(Beards are fake...in case anyone was wondering! :)

Thanksgiving was yummy!  We celebrated Grandma's life with all her traditions--the BEST stuffing (even Mike agreed), jello, my FAVORITE rolls, and banana cream pie!  Mike fried a turkey--just as good as people say it is!  Baked, played, cried, slept, and chilled all day.  It was great!

Cute hair--a bonus of having a fabulous hairdresser in attendance!

I feel sad for the families that don't make these beauties on Thanksgiving...

Katelyn and Josh get along famously these days--laughing, running, playing.  It's fabulous! (Contrary to Josh's face, Katelyn is his favorite play buddy!)

Mike and Katelyn discovered  a flight simulator on the computer...many an hour has been spent flying at our house, and I know what Mike asked Santa for!

We went and saw the Temple Square Christmas lights with the Woods and Grandma.  Josh makes a cute snowman--Katelyn makes a great grumpy one! But, cousin Aly soon arrived and all was well in Katelyn land!

And that, my friends, brings us current--or at least mostly!  Merry Christmas!!
