Okay...this is cute!

Heard about this site and tried it out tonight...pretty cute! You input all the information and they generate a message from Santa for your child.  (And it's one of those times that I'm glad my husband has such strong opinions about naming our kids.  'Katelyn' is pretty hard to mess up!  No silent q's or extra y's in her name!)

Video Here

I know it's not about the real meaning of Christmas, but isn't part of the magic of Christmas the part where little kids believe?

Enjoy!

Free Christmas Cards...

Does anybody else LOVE Christmas cards?  And, while the e-mail versions are good, appropriate, and cost effective, I still love getting actual cards, in my hand, to read and to hang up.  This year, I've already started buying and stockpiling stamps so I can send mine out without a budget crunch!
And so, in the realm of cost...I found this GREAT deal!

50 Free Christmas Cards to Bloggers from Shutterfly.

Anybody else love Shutterfly?  I do! :)  In fact, another Shutterfly giftcard is HIGH on my Christmas wishlist...hint, hint!  I haven't perused the options yet, but I will soon and then, come Christmas, you'll be seeing great Christmas cards from yours truly!

I haven't actually used Shutterfly before for my Christmas Cards.  Usually I make up my own and get them printed at Walmart...but believe you me, I've always wanted to.  So cute.  So simple.  So many choices and variations that mine is bound to be unique--(not to mention it's MY own pictures)!

You can check out their options HERE!

In the past, and currently, I use Shutterfly for books and photo collages. Come to my house and you'll see them all over Katelyn's room--one from each year.    I got a shutterfly giftcard for my birthday last year and used it to make 2 books about our time in Texas.  They sit on my coffee table with pride.  Come on over and you can check them out!

Does my post sound like an infomercial?  Well, it is, of sorts! Check out how you can get this same deal by clicking HERE.

Enjoy!

(Still haven't purchased more space yet...pictures will come at some point!)

Halloween 2010

We had a fun Halloween this year, and like everybody else, we had party after party after party.  You would think it was Christmas!  We enjoyed our ward Chili Cook Off and Trunk-or-Treat (Katelyn is turning into quite the little flirt...she prefers boys over girls and everyday I hear, "_____________ (fill your latest boy here: Max, Bryson, Michael, Owen...) is my FAVORITE friend!")

Katelyn had a preschool Halloween party and loved it--we went Trick or Treating upstairs to each of the individual bedrooms. It was so cute!

And lastly, we went Trick or Treating on Saturday night--but not in the rain and coldness, no, not us!  Wanna hear the best secret ever? Dicks Grocery does trick or treating...warm, free candy, and quick--in about 7 minutes we got 40 houses worth of candy.  Although our car died in the parking lot, this is a tradition we'll be doing each year!

Okay so...pictures coming.  Has anyone else run out of storage space on your blog? Apparently, I just hit the magic amount--!  I get to buy more storage....yippee! :)  But, seeing how I'm home sick, laying down with no desire to move, I'm going to have to wait until I get the energy to go find my wallet!  Check back! :)

A Few More...
