It's been long awaited...but it's here! I can't believe it's been this long since I've been on here!
Here's a quick recap... (okay, not quick, but a recap!)
Katelyn and I spent a week in Utah to surprise Kyron and watch him in the play "The Music Man." We missed Mike, but had a great time! Now it's time to buy plane tickets to head back home the first week of June for my best friends wedding! Yeah Deanna!!
We came home and got all our ducks back in the row in time for Conference and Easter. Wasn't conference awesome? I especially appreciated all the talks that seemed to be focused on the youth, and Mike thinks we should put Elder Hales talk into vinyl letter form and plaster it all over our walls! :)
We have a 'Mormon Easter bunny' who visits our house, so we do the Easter/candy/eggs/presents/hunts fun on Saturday so we can spend Sunday focusing on our Savior and the blessings of the Atonement and Resurrection.
We went to a community event and had quite a fun time--although we left before the Easter egg hunt! We also had a fun picnic dinner at the park with some of our ward friends.
Sunday Katelyn wore her new Easter dress, and then promptly discovered puddles so no pictures yet! But it's so cute, I tell you! We had a lesson in YW about President Monsons talk from the YW general meeting: It was perfect!! We had Easter Sunday dinner with some friends and had a lovely, calm day as a family.
Mike had a cooking adventure and made his own Mozzarella Cheese!! As much of a skeptic as I was originally, I'm sold now! Yum, yum, yum! It might be a bit hill-billy-ish, but we're going to make it again!
I started couponing again! Inspired by a friend in the ward who has her grocery budget (for her family of 3) down to $150 month, I joined an online coupon tip site and have been saving money like CRAZY! Just this morning I got 45 dollars worth of everyday, useful stuff for 18 bucks! Yeah!
And last, but certainly not least...IT'S A BOY! We had our anatomy scan this morning and, along with everything being perfect with the little one, we found out we're having a boy! Whew! One of each...the pressure is off!! Now...to decide how to decorate! :) I'm 20 weeks last Saturday, so we've made it halfway! Still feeling great, and I'm in better shape then I was with Katelyn. I feel stronger and more healthy and better able to deal with all the bummerish symptoms of pregnancy. Yes!
I'm short on lots of pictures, but here are some that I've got! Loves!!
(These pictures I grabbed off of Brielles Facebook, so they don't quite fit. I didn't take any! We also spent a day in SLC with Becky, Aly, Kayla and Grandma Williams...anybody wanna share pictures?)
Katelyn was happy and healthy this time...we had a much better time then last time! The flight is getting tougher and tougher, longer and longer...but you do what you gotta do! :)
Watching Conference via the Internet and my super smart husband. We set Katelyn up to 'take notes' on her table, and Mike and I actually got a lot of listening in!
(And here's another reason why you shouldn't fall asleep during Conference...the one 15 minute bout that Mike and I snoozed, we woke to find Katelyn had pooped in her diaper, taken it off, thrown it away, and then wandered all over the house. Oh joy! At least she threw it away, right? :)
This ever happened to you? :)
Our Easter Saturday Fun...
Katelyn has a year on these cute munchkins...but all she cared about was the candy!
It's SO good! And cheap! For the price of a gallon of milk, we got a pound of yummy, gourmet, fresh mozzarella cheese. And some ricotta!
All this for $18 bucks! Yeah!
Twenty weeks and feeling great! (And I'm a bit prideful about it, but I've only gained 5 pounds! The doctor said that's just fine...hopefully it means I'll be good and healthy the whole way through!)
Watch for more pictures of the ultrasound and Katelyns Easter dress. Coming soon...I promise?! :)

yay for boys! they can be tricky, but they are tons and tons of fun. I don't gain much weight with my pregnancies either. Last time when I asked about it the doctor said that unless I was from some 3rd world country and never eating more than like...i dunno...beetles and rice, that everything was fine. I only gained 10lbs total with Liam, and 26lbs with the twins. So yeah...I'm so happy that you get to have a new baby to play with! they are so fun!
Sound like an eventful past few weeks. Congratulations on having a boy and only gaining 5 lbs thus far. I think next to sonograms decorating the babies room is my favorite part of being pregnant. Enjoy!
How fun! You should feel bad falling asleep during conference, no one else has ever done that before :)
Congrats on the BABY BOY! I'm happy for you! Hope your still feeling well!
Exciting for you! Boys are so fun and rambuncious (spelling?). I had to laugh about Catelin taking off her diaper and running around the house. One time Braeden ripped his diaper off after he woke up from a nap and played in it. It was so gross and everywhere! So feel lucky she knew what to do with it. When are you fling to Utah for Dee's wedding? We are driving because that is cheaper for us.
Congrats on the baby boy. They are lots of fun. I sure love playing with my little guy.
