Happy Mothers Day!

Mothers Day was great.  Mothering is the greatest and toughest job I've ever done. Feeling so blessed for my mothers: biological, the ones I married into, sisters, friends and neighbors.  Such a great day!

Provo Temple. It was a beautiful and lovely day! I'll forever be grateful for the Bishop that had feeling that there was this guy I 'just had to meet.'

2007 

Bryan Texas.  Pregnant and just starting to realize how miserable a Texas summer--pregnant--could be!  We got to come home for a trip in the semester break in May!

 2008

Bryan Texas-Houston Texas. We bought a house for our Anniversary this year! (Literally, signed the papers and didn't even realize it was our anniversary until we signed!)

2009

Almost exactly a year later we were prepping for a move.  A job loss sort of knocked us off our feet, but we decided to head back to good 'ol Utah. Oh yeah, and pregnant again.

2010

Spent the day celebrating the 'birthday' of our family! 

2011

Just had our Luke-Luke.  Enjoyed the BYU Rugby team and a trip to Macbeths. 

2012

Spent the day in Provo, in the canyon we got engaged in.  So fun!

2013

Sort of skipped our Anniversary this year, again.  Celebrated by having a baby!

2014

This year Mothers Day falls on our anniversary and we are TEN DAYS from paying off our student loan (which we have been paying on FOREVER!), so we took our date fund and put it towards that.  We celebrated by going to the Temple. It was perfect!

Family Night on Temple Square

We headed down to Salt Lake tonight to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL flowers on Temple Square.  We barely made it before the end of the tulips and it was SO PRETTY! The kids were pretty much crazy nuts, but there is lots of space to roam and there were many adult hands so all in all it was a good night.  :)

A One Year Old Boy!

Can't believe that this Baby Ben is ONE this week! Man, sure love this little guy.  I don't know if it's because we are closer to the end of having children than we are to the beginning, or if it's because I appreciate more the ability to have children or if it's because I am just getting better at enjoying everyday...but I have loved every minute with this sweet boy. Even the middle of the night snuggles. Even the teething days and the lack of his desire to walk.  Even the climbing out of the highchair and then eating anything and everything on the floor.  

Love this boy! So glad he is ours forever!
