Valentines Day

Our Valentines Day was grand--how was yours? We like to make it a family celebration day.  Perhaps one day we will have a romantic getaway with fancy candlelight dinners and kid free hours, but for now--we celebrate kid style! :)

All week long the 'Love Bug' came to visit our house. He dropped off little treats to the kiddos and Mike and helped to spread the love.  Valentines Day we had a regular morning. I got to go to Josh's preschool valentines party and volunteer at Katelyn's kindergarten party so we had a fun morning.  For lunch we enjoyed PINK pancakes and spent the afternoon delivering sugar cookies.  For dinner we had heart shaped bread, soup with heart shaped carrots, and fancy drink. Daddy brought home the girls roses!  All day Mike had hidden notes around the house that I had fun finding, and I made him a mixed CD of some of my favorite 'Mike' songs.

It was a low key day, but great! Hope your holiday was just as happy!
