Remember, remember, remember!!

It's not just me, it's not just me, it's not just me!

(Do the moms get to have a melt down every 20 minutes too?)

We Love Friday's Off!!

Mike and I went 4-wheeling on Friday with my two best friends from high school and their husbands. It was SO FUN! We got stuck at times, fell off at times (oops!), and basically had a lovely time. The boys would have been a bit more daring (or a lot bit) if they hadn't had their precious cargo on the back, so we may have to do this again and give them the chance! Thanks Steph and Kyle for supplying the fun toys! We loved it!!

Notice we're all dry--not so much at the end!

Ryan loved mud and puddles...Deanna was a trooper!

Let's make this a tradition!!

Wanna move to my neighborhood?

Are you looking to buy? I just found out that the house right across the street is for sale--same house-plan as mine, which puts it right about 2100 square feet. Four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, good sized yard, no garage, but a great tree in the front--here's the kicker--

$129,000.

Holy cow! I can only assume it needs some work inside, but dang, talk about a deal! Snag this one while you can! :)

Happy 4 Years!

Happy Anniversary to me today! And to Mike--he probably should be included! It was a great day then, and although today included loads of laundry, too many poopy diapers, one potty accident, and a dirty house, today is a good day to! Four years, 4 houses/apartments, 6 jobs between us, 2 pregnancies (it gets to be pointed out individually, because couples that survive pregnancy--not even to MENTION children--should deserve a prize!) 2 kids, 2 cars, 1 solo trip (without the babies), and lots of laughter and love later, we're still happy!

The two of us...in our skinnier days!

First Anniversary: just the two of us (and an in-tummy baby)

Second Anniversary: We actually forgot this one (horrible!!)...Mike's graduation, closed on a house, moved...what a week!

Third Anniversary: A lovely dinner date, just the two of us (and another in-tummy baby!)

Check back later for this year's picture!

Are You Stressed....

Got this in our ward bulletin...hilarious!

Why LDS Women Stress

As Latter-Day Saint women, we are practically obsessed with anxiously engaging ourselves in good causes. Maybe it is subliminal. Glancing through my hymnal last Sunday I noted that:

As sisters in Zion, we who are called to serve and are all enlisted to go marching, marching forward because the world has need of willing men to all press on scattering sunshine. We wonder if we have done any good in the world today because we have been given much and want to do what is right, keep the commandments, press forward with the Saints, choose the right, and put our shoulders to the wheel going where He wants us to go. However, as the morning breaks high on the mountain top, truth reflects upon our senses and while we still believe that sweet is the work, we also realize that we have work enough to do ere the sun goes down.

Hope you have a stress free day are your house!

We're potty training today at mine--wish us luck!

Happy Mothers Day!!

I know I'm early, but...the way the past few weeks have been, I'm going to take this second, because I might not get another one for days!! :) I heard my Stake President say that Mothers Day is one of the most dreaded days for 80% of moms in the church--they feel guilty and frustrated at their lack to do better. I feel blessed not to feel this way (because I'm so amazing, right? ;), but I still LOVE this song and it helps me stay on track! So, to all the moms out there--enjoy! (Can't figure out how to put a song on here, so just enjoy the words!)

In her heart she holds the dreams

That she’s carried since the day she turned thirteen

Of all that she would be when she was grown

Of all that she would do when she was finally on her own

She dreamed she’d fly

And she’s still waiting for the chance to try

But in the meantime she’s a mother and a daughter and a wife

Doing all she can to stay above the daily grind

She wonders when she’ll ever have more meaning in her life

She doesn’t know she’s being molded and refined

In the meantime

Someday she’ll go back to school

When the carpools and the soccer games are through

‘caus deep inside she’s still the girl

Who’s always felt the fire to make a difference in the world

She dreams she’ll soar

When she finally has the time to do more

But in the meantime she’s a sister and a teacher and a friend

Hours turn into days that turn to years that never end

She wonders when she’ll ever really find herself again

But she’s becoming one on whom God can depend

In the meantime

Heaven feels the joy of every victory in her life

and heaven hears her heart before she cries

Somewhere in the middle of the triumphs and the trials

She’s becoming sanctified

But in the meantime she’s an answer and a blessing and a gift

To every empty, aching heart that only she can lift

She still wonders if she’ll ever get to see where heaven is

If she could only see her mansions waiting there

If she could only feel how much her Father cares

She would know she’s being perfectly prepared

In the meantime

-Jenny Jordan Frogley (totally SWEET last name, eh?!)

Have a great Mothers Day!!
