A Name and A Blessing

We were lucky to bless our sweet baby boy June 9th.  What a great day.  A huge thanks to all who made the trip to share our special day with us--it meant so much to me to have everyone there. And Mom and Dad Williams (and assorted children), we missed you!

Mike gave our Benjamin David a beautiful blessing. At least people said it was beautiful--sure wish my Josh-man hadn't chosen that precise moment to become a wiggly monster. Oh well! The joys of motherhood, right? :)

Luckily, Jillisa and my Mom took some notes, so I can share with ya'll.

We had a luncheon at our home after our block and had a great time visiting with family.  I didn't get enough pictures, but here are a few of our fun!

And one for Aunt Suzanne--we missed Becca!

My sister and I played photographer a week later and got some pictures of our sweet man.  All three boys have been blessed in the same outfit, and it is made from the fabric from my wedding dress.  Maybe one day we will have another girl to put in the dress that Katelyn was blessed in! ;)

My sweet friend made the beautiful afghan for his blessing. I was given another pretty blanket by a different friend for Katelyn's blessing, but it's got purple in it.  I'm sad I waited three boys to get another one.  But I love it!

Summertime!

We sure love the summer!  It's been fun to have a more lax schedule--although I'll admit I wish we moved a bit faster in the morning! Perfect time, though, to recover from having a baby.  We've sure done some fun things!

And, in no particular order...

We've gardened.

We've conquered our loud noises fears! (or, at least found a solution for them!)

We've watched a lot of TV. (I'll be honest here...we watch too much at our house!)

We've played with trains.

We've taken Sunday afternoon naps...(or at least some of us have!)

We've taken lots of pictures of our newest addition!

We've s'mored (inside...we got winded out).

More pictures.

We've practiced fly-fishing with Daddy's fathers day present.

We got our hairs cut. (or, at least, I did!)

We've gone swimming with Aunt Jillisa and Aunt Brielle

We've gone to the zoo.  More HERE.  (Katelyn got to participate in the bird show!)

We've s'mored, again.  And this time we slept in our NEW bags in our awesome tent in the backyard.  Want one of our bags--they are great! Get them HERE.

We POTTY TRAINED! (Holy freakin cow, it's about time!  Not Luke, just Josh.  Barely made it before 4! Whew!)

We spent a day at Antelope Island with Aunt Jenny and Uncle Jon.

We've hung out at Grandma and Grandpas. With new hats.

We've ridden on the party bus.

In the near future we plan to do more camping in Montana and spend a week at St. George.  We also have to squeeze in every last second of fun with Uncle Kyron before he leaves on his mission the end of July.

Graduation(s)

All of these deserve their own post, but I'm going to clump them all together.  Boo!

First up, Katelyn participated in a singing class for the last year. We took the summer off, but she LOVES this class.  If you are interested in more, I can get you the information. It's awesome.

She had a little recital to celebrate their spring session. It was animal themed.  She went around singing the songs for weeks, and even still I hear her break out in song.

This last school year we participated in a neighborhood preschool. Josh-man had so much fun!! I need to find something great for him to do this year!
Here he is on the last day, and with his class.  He and his little friend Logan fought off all sorts of girl-germs together! :)

And Miss Katelyn.  Last day of kindergarten.  I'll admit--I shed tears. She didn't, but I was sad. Sad to leave her awesome teacher. Sad that she's growing up. Sad that it means next year is first grade.  What a sweet girl she is!
She also participate in a Kindergarten graduation program. My awesome Sister, Brielle, who happened to be more on the ball than me, already blogged about it. Check it out HERE. There are some great videos!

Oh yeah...and I graduated from pregnancy.
But you already knew that! :)
